I began my career in inspection
and testing in 1976 and was fortunate to receive training by Bechtel, Stone & Webster, and Hellier
just to name a few. I’ve worked as a welder, fabricator, erector and inspector. Climbing structural
steel to do Ultrasonic Testing on moment connections became my specialty. I now work for Shaw Nuclear Services
as a QC Supervisor at VC Summer Units 2&3. I also work on AISC certification for fabricators and erectors
to the new standards. Writing welding procedures has always been important to me as it keeps me up to date with all the latest
